Talking 2 Ghosts

My son claimed to have had an interaction with a ghost in our house recently. He said it felt like someone was watching him as he went down the stairs, so he tossed a bottle cap downstairs. According to him, it came flying back at him and hit him in the head. Of course, I assumed it bounced but he insisted it couldn’t have.

Naturally, I started thinking about the ghost. Many of us believe they exist but we rarely speak to them—except maybe in prayer. But now that there might be a ghost in my house, and since I’m not one to shy away from the truth, I decided to talk to it. Like, why ignore something that might be sharing your space? You ignoring it doesn’t make it go away.

Oh yeah, I’m supposed to be afraid of spirits. The thing is, I see them like people- some are good, some are bad. I believe good spirits can protect against bad ones, if they choose to. And a bad spirit won’t keep me from connecting with the positive spirits around me- not in the physical world or spiritual. I don’t know about y’all but I’m putting my spiritual team together! We got this.

It felt strange talking to seemingly nothing, but I think it’ll feel more natural over time. You already know imma let y’all know if something interesting happens. For now, I just told them (or the walls) to respect my privacy and only come in the room with me if they have my permission to.

…I wonder what do ghosts enjoy?

Love,
